Renovation and Extension, Marlborough

A stunning transformation of the original 1950 detached dwelling was achieved which brought the building a new lease of life and was highly praised by judges in the LABC West of England Regional Awards for which this project was awarded best extension in 2022.

Giraffe Engineering provided a full structural design service from conception to completion, with multiple bespoke elements creating architectural details such as column free glazed corners, large open plan internal spaces, thermally isolated cantilever roof canopies, projecting window surrounds.
