A new-build home with a large open plan living space, the simplicity of the design revolves around the central pier constructed in engineering bricks which are extremely strong and have been left exposed as a structural and architectural feature of this space. This simple intervention greatly reduces the amount of steelwork needed to construct the building, thereby saving time and expense for the contractor and client.
